How to Decide What Options to Offer

  • Part 1: Ask good open-ended questions. You need to find out what is important to the pet owner 
  • Part 2: Make a summarization of what they said and repeat it back to them, so they know you’ve actively listened to them  
  • Part 3: make the recommendation based on what they’ve told you 
  • Part 4: Stop talking. Take a moment to breathe and give the client time to think
