Veterinary clients can be (understandably) worried when a pet delivers a litter at home, but @lvttob shared a story with us on the @DrAndyRoark Instagram that brought that normal panic to a very… odd place.

“I once had a lady call in a panic because her cat had just had (three) kittens.”


“After establishing that the birth went well, the (three) kittens were happily feeding, (and the) momma cat wasn’t it distress, I couldn’t figure out why the woman was so upset.”


“Apparently, this woman was told that cats only had an EVEN number of kittens, so clearly something had gone horribly wrong (with this litter of three)!”
